More Joy For Street Cry

On Wednesday we had racing from Flemington and Rosehill with the win by a Street Cry mare called Girl Tuesday, sparking interest. The daughter of Tuesday Joy won as if a big race is not beyond her. While female jockey, Jamie Kah continued her winning way in South Australia. The Sebrings recorded a double at headquarters while Exceed and Excel keeps producing winners at the Rosehill track for the James Cummings stable.

Sebrings at Flemington -- The filly Amphitrite was the first of the Sebring's to score with Craig Williams in the saddle for the Flying Start Syndications and Darren Weir. It was her second win of her career and she is out of the Redoutes Choice mare, Ocean Dream. In the following race again over 1400m we saw another Sebring successful as Vinland ridden by Chris Caserta got another win on the board. Its Chris's first city winner since his return to race riding. The win by the Lonhro gelding, Haunted made it 4 from 7 starts and continues the good run of the James Cummings stable in both states. The four year old is out of the Canny Lad mare, Seances. The benchmark 64 race up the straight over the 1000m saw the Nicconi filly, Final Choice for the Hayes/Dabenig stable record her second win from three starts. The breed really do go well up the straight.

Street Cry and Girl Tuesday -- James Mcdonald had a good day out at Rosehill with a treble. The first of those wins was with Girl Tuesday who remains unbeaten for the Waller camp in the BM 76. She won eased down by 3.5 lengths. Check her win out here Girl Tuesday  .  This makes it three from three for her now and she could easily be a group one mare on the rise. The Waller/Mcdonald combination also scored with the four year old Frankel entire in the BM76 over 1500m called Merovee. When the James Cummings trained Resin won her fourth race from eight starts in the second last race of the day by three lengths. It gave James a treble. The mare is by Exceed and Excel and in the last another by that sire trained by James called Piracy was victorious over 1300m but this time the rider of the 4 year old gelding was Tye Angland.  The breed have been flying in Sydney over the last couple of weeks. Its been a big couple of weeks for the Strawberry Hills Stud and John Singleton. Merovee !

Jamie Kah Gawler -- The female jockeys continue to dominate South Australian racing and on Wednesday. The queen of the show Jamie Kah recorded another treble with the first being a Fighting Sun filly from the Tony Mcevoy stable called Magic Sunset which romped in by 6 lengths in the opening maiden. In the following race she got another Mcevoy runner Sweet Mischief home for her maiden victory. Then it was the Will Clarken trained first starter Magna Bella who won the 1100m maiden. She is by Magnus out of the Bel Esprit mare, Molto Bella. It is worth noting that breeding combination i have seen a few from that line successful.
